The article presents alternative metal-supported catalysts for decomposition of the highest-class hydrogen peroxide: 98%+ (Type 98 HP, according to MIL-PRF-16005F). aim this study was experimental investigation an solution peroxide, strictly chemical propulsion. High-porosity open cell metal foams have been identified as structures with great potential. Low density, good mechanical and thermal properties, availability various materials alloys well new technologies manufacturing, make foam a potential many different propellants, not only peroxide. Open NiCrAl has processed prepare several catalysts, content dispersion active phase. Cleaning drying were performed carriers further processing: wet impregnation, slow drying, calcination. Simple drop tests 98% peroxide conducted estimate activity level in simplified scale: low, medium, high. Then, real-environment catalyst bed.
